​NWT Energy Corporation (03) Ltd. has submitted to the Gwich’in Land and Water Board applications for a Type “A” Land Use Permit for the purpose of constructing, operating and maintaining a wind turbine, an all season access road, powerlines, and associated electricity infrastructure at Highpoint, approximately 12 km east of the Town of Inuvik, NT, and Type “B” Water Licence for water use during project construction.  The applicant requests a term of 5 years for each authorization, with activities beginning in early 2019.
