Enbridge Pipelines (NW) Inc. - MV2012X0024

Enbridge is applying for a land use permit to carry out erosion protection activities on and around Hodgson Creek, near where the creek crosses Enbridge’s Line 21 pipeline at KP 305. The site is approximately ten kilometers northeast of Wrigley, NT. The project proposes maintenance of existing erosion protection works, installation of vanes at, and upstream, of the existing erosion protection, and some additional erosion mitigation structures. There is an existing access off of the pipeline ROW that will be used to access the site. Equipment and materials storage will be on the pipeline ROW. The construction period is proposed as January 2013 to March 2013. Enbridge also plans to access the Mount Gaudet quarry to obtain granular material required to complete this work. A Quarry Permit from Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada will be obtained as required. Quarried material, crew, and all equipment will be transported to the project site using existing roads, accesses, and the pipeline right-of-way.
