​The undertaking involves the following items:
▪ Construction of a new water treatment plant complete with a new treatment process that is able to meet the GCDWQ guidelines and all regulatory requirements of the Northwest Territories.

▪ Obtain raw water from Mackenzie River to be stored in the water reservoir once or twice per year.
It is estimated that approximately a total of between 6,600 m3 and 9,900 m3 (in deign year 2034) of water will be taken per year from the raw water source.

▪ Disposal of wastewater generated from the treatment of raw water (to produce potable water) will be deposited into the sewage lagoon.
