To facilitate remedial excavation at the site, water from the excavation will be pumped into storage tanks, then through an on-site water treatment system and finally discharged back to the site (refer to Drawing 133685-LET6). The treated water will be tested prior to initial discharge and periodically during the water treatment works to ensure effectiveness of the water treatment system.
