​The City of Yk proposes to infilling a portion of City-leased waterfront lot for the purpose of creating public space. the project will involve infilling an area of approximately 200 sq m, including the area belonging to the Great Slave Yacht Club. A 2006 engineers report indicates that this infilling project will require 500 cu m of blast rock. Final landscaping plans will be determined through public consultation and may include a floating dock.
